As you know, I’m pretty much a Paint Shop Pro (PSP) user — for designing and scrapping. However, there is a learning curve for this program and if it weren’t for the designing part of the process, I wouldn’t be using it! I also use Photoshop (PS) in the designing process but never in the scrapping end of things. There is a much steeper learning curve for PS and it’s jut not as intuitive, at least not for me. Maybe its the tutorials that I’ve found, but I’m not sure.
For scrapbooking, there are two programs that I use regularly and they are so very, very easy to use! I started with Scrapbook Max! because there is a 30 free trial of the full program. So I downloaded it and gave it a whirl. It’s great for beginners and simple scrapbooking!! You can use their pre-made templates and QP’s or start from scratch. One of the things that I really like is the fact that you can just double click on the photo box to add your photo. What could be easier?!? The other super easy program that I’ve been using is entitled My Memories. Once again, this is not a pricy program at only $39.97! This has many of the same features as the previous program but is a little more advanced in what can be done! This program also comes with pre-made templates where you can just drag and drop your photos into the photo box. You can also start with a blank page and create your own layouts. One of the more advanced features of this program is that the shadows are more customizable. I like that I can make the shadows different for each element and photo that I place on my page.
