Carolyn Ritter, Digi Cyber Scraps

I have always enjoyed scrapbooking and was a traditional scrapper until several years ago when I was introduce to digital scrapping.  Since I love working at the computer, I thought immediately that this would be a good fit for me and I was correct!

After scrapping for only a few short week,  I knew that I wanted to get into designing.  I didn’t have any extra $$ to purchase kits and I just knew that I could design  my own.  I have been designing ever since.  At first, my kits were complete free – I wanted and needed to get my name out there.  I got some very good pointers on making my kits better (thanks, Tammy) and decided to try and sell them.

In the summer of 2011 I decided to open my own store and set my own “rules”.  Once again I’ve enjoyed learning new things at the computer.  Only this time, I was learning minor html coding and Zen Cart.

Since I live in NYC, I thought that my tagline should be something that fit my life.  Thus was born, “Designing in the Big Apple”.  It has stuck!  The theme for my blog and my store are based on an early kit that I made that was based on apples.  (That kit is no longer available, but a new one will be going into the store soon!)

I’m the mother of two young adults, a pastor’s wife, a craft lover of all sorts of crafts and most importantly, a love of Jesus Christ.  I’m a born again Christian and I share my faith on this blog.  I don’t get “preachy” but when I feel that something needs to be said, I’m not afraid to say it.  However, that is not very often since this is a blog about digital scrapbooking for the most part.  I just can’t always separate the two!

If you haven’t stopped by my store, be sure to do so here for my personal store or here for my store at MyMemories.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please come back again!  🙂
