Freebie Codes

I’ve been delinquent in posting the codes for the Countdown to Christmas over at MyMemories.  I didn’t think that they would work except on the day that they were posted.  However, I did a test with the code from day 1 and the free kits were automatically added to my cart, even though the graphic below says 12/01 only.  So, here are the codes for the first three days of December.  You just have to remember that only one code can be used per order.  Here ya go:

December 1

December 2

December 3

I have participated in this event and my freebie will be later this month, on December 23 to be exact.  I’ll try to remind you when that day comes!

Merry Christmas!

New CT Member, Her Layouts and Other News

Hi everyone!  I’ve been such a bad blogger, but a busy, busy mom/wife lately.  It’s been kind of crazy!  I can’t seem to keep my head on straight with everything that I have to get done.  And to make matters worse, my husband’s broken foot is getting worse, not better.  We are beginning to think that he will need surgery!  Yikes!

My daughter graduates from college on May 11 as valedictorian of her class.  If you have been reading my blog for a while, you may remember that my son also graduated as valedictorian of his college class.  How was I blessed with two smart children?  They must take after their father!  LOL!  Actually, one of my daughter’s professors says it’s the homeschooling.  Whatever the reason, I am one proud momma!!  I’ll have pictures after next weekend!

I wanted to introduce you to my newest CT member.  Her name is Debbie and here is what she has to say about herself:

Debbie Mug Shot 2010

1.  Tell me a little about yourself.
I am a Christian and have been since I was very young. I love reading my Bible and other Spiritual books. I have been married for 29 years. My husband and I have 4 children ages 27, 24, 18, and 16. They are all still living at home with us and have kept me very busy. I have been a homeschool mom for 22 years and I have 2 more years of homeschooling to go. Besides digital scrapbooking I like to: scrapbook with paper, read History, Historical Fiction, and Christian Fiction; blog, doodle, take walks in the park, watch all kinds of movies, play board games, do cross stitch, and play on our Wii with my kids.

2.  How long have you been a digital scrapper?
Since March of 2012… just about a year.

4.  What programs do you use when you scrap?
I only use My Memories… I have not learned to use anything else.

5.  Anything else you would like to share?
My blog can be found at http://debbiesdigest.blogspot.com/     I would like to learn to create digital scrapbook kits some day. I think that would be tons of fun.

Debbie decided for her first kit, to use Bring Your Mittens.  You all know that  I love winter, but I’m glad it’s spring here in NYC finally.  But I know that some of you have been experiencing winter for a long time.  In fact, some of you are still getting snow!  That’s what happened to Debbie.  Here are her layouts.

Bring Your Mittens-002

Debbie is a relatively new digital scrapper as you can tell from her answer above and I think that she did a great job!!  Stop by her blog and leave your comments on this post.

Now for the other news.  As you know, tomorrow is National Scrapbooking Day.  You can see all the information below that I’m planning at my personal store.

NSD 2013

You will notice that I now have another designer at the store with me.  Dawne, of Desert Bloom Designs, has joined the store.  She is in the process of getting kits in there now.  That means that our collab kits will be added.  In fact, the God’s Fall Paintbox series has all been added!  We are in the process of working on another collab which will be added as soon as possible.

We are also continuing to work on the store to make it look as professional as possible.  All previews will have a uniform look to them, but I am still in the process of updating them.  Eventually we will get there, so please hang in there with us.

If you use any of my kits to make your layouts, please feel free to upload them in the appropriate album at my gallery.  Then send me an email so that I can highlight them on my blog and take a look at them myself!

I also have a forum that I have not promoted very much, but I would love to start getting some things going over there.  You can check it out here.  If you have any ideas of what you would like to see or do over there, just give me a holler!

I hope that you come back to the store (gallery and forum, too) often!  We are adding new items as quickly as we can!  We even have the beginning of a CU section (but only a beginning!).

Keep scrappin’,
