We have a winner in my kit name guessing contest. But that will have to wait until Wednesday when I post part one of my new kit.

Good night!! Sleep tight and I’ll see you back here tomorrow!!

I’ve finally finished up the kit that I have been working on for forever. But before I start posting any previews (which, btw, I still have to do) I’d like some entries into the contest. I’ve had only 1 guess so far. I’d really love to give away one of the kits that’s in the new store. So, if you’d like to get your guess in, post your comment on this post or on the other post found here. Remember your clues:

  1. winter theme
  2. a song title

I’ll be working on previews tomorrow and will post the first part on Wednesday. Stay tuned!

Wicked . . . That’s Me!

Maybe I’m not literally wicked, but these days it seems that way.  But I did promise pics yesterday and didn’t get them up.  I guess that makes me somewhat wicked.  Anyway, here are the pictures of our night on the town.  I only wish that we could take pictures during the performance, but I certainly understand why we can’t.

Wicked 003 On 50th Street, Manhattan on our way to the theatre.  The theatre is actually between 50th and 51st Streets.

Wicked 005I would love to have one of these hanging in the dungeon.

Wicked 008I know, bad pic ‘cause it’s blurry.  This is the lobby of the theatre where we waited to go in.  At least they let us wait inside!

Wicked 027 The view from our seats of the map of Oz.  We were in the second to last row but exactly in the middle.  Believe it or not, they were great seats!!

Wicked 011 This says it all — need I say more?!?

Wicked 017My dh and me.  Sorry it’s dark — my dd took this one and didn’t want to blind the people behind us with the flash.

Wicked 023Part of the orchestra pit from our seats.

Times Square at 11:00 pm Thursday night.  What a fun place to be!!

I know from these pics that you don’t have any idea how good the show was, but you’ll have to take my word for it.  That is, unless you want to come to NYC.  Just let me know so that I have enough time to get tickets for us!  If you’ve never been to NYC to see a Broadway show or for any reason, you should come.  You won’t be sorry!
